No trip's complete without some songs that you HAVE to listen to while on the road. I went to Uttaranchal recently, and the company was such I didn't have the time to listen to any music on the way. I did manage to get 15 minutes alone, and these are the three songs that I played, in order of preference.

I've been playing WoW for the past couple of days on the Chaos Crusade private servers, just to check out all the hype about PvP in Alterac Valley. It seems interesting, but then again I'm just too new to the game to actually get around to not dying like crazy. I've finally spec'd a build which is half decent and got one kill with it. I'm going with a druid in cat form with a pounce/mangle burst damage spec. It's hard to pvp in WoW. I think I'll just stick to my DoTA. Warhammer seems interesting, but I don't think I'll have the time to actually play the damn game. Oh well back to work now.

I was so bored of work, I decided to make myself a new profile pic for Facebook. I wanted something anime like, but that's far beyond my capabilities, so I settled with something much easier to make. One of my favourite album covers is the best of blur album. It's not pretentious and it looks very nice. It's kinda inspired by the Queen album cover in my opinion. So I decided to do a self portrait (lol) based on that style and here's what I came up with. I quite like it. I think I fucked up the ears a bit and I really didn't have the patience to add hilights to the hair and clothes. It'll have to do for now.

The second Bleach movie is finally out and Dattebayo have been kind enough not to troll everyone and release the fansub. I watched the movie a couple of days back and couldn't figure out why its called the Diamond Dust Rebellion. The plot is quite decent for starters. It's focussed on Hitsugaya Toushiro's past. Now whitey-chan is one of my favourite characters, and I'm a sucker for origin stories. But the promos for the movie were misleading and I really think they didn't do too much to flesh out his backstory. However, it does add an important aspect to the whole Bleach canon. The story centers around one zanpaktou and two wielders, and the tragic consequences that the situation brings about. It starts of really well, because you really don't have a clue as to where the story is going to progress. The last movie was so super-lame that I wasn't really expecting much from this one. But it's actually quite good. It has all the good stuff with a stunning battle sequence towards the end of the movie, a plot wtf right before the end which still doesn't make too much sense and seems totally random. They just tried to tie up all the plot points into a neat little bunch which kinda screwed the narrative. But then they added a massive fight including innovative usage of the Zabemaru (which is always a plus point). At the end of the day I think it's definitely worth watching, because it fleshes out the main canon and has some awesome action sequences, features all the good bleach characters. Heck the only thing missing from this one is Rukia's adorable little drawings and Ichigo getting his ass handed to him by his dad :) It gets bonus points for actually having a Zangetsu sequence, a rarity these days.
